“The Science of Sound” is an educational diegetic musical produced by DACAMERA that

combines an interactive narrative, composer commission, live chamber music, and hands-on

demonstrations to explore the relationships between science and music. It was presented from November 12-14, 2024 in Zilkha Hall for 3,000 fifth graders across the greater Houston area through the Hobby Center’s Discovery Series Program.
